A friend explained that his wife wants him to get rid of his old system (floor-standing speakers and NAD amp), and replace it with small discrete speakers and play mainly Spotify. They are hoping for wireless speakers.
However he does have a nice turntable and collection of LPs, so I assume he will still want to have that connected as well.
His cost limit is $1000au (approx $700us).
My experience has been mainly 7.1 and home theatre, so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
