Hi there
I'm looking for reviews / advice of DAB+ receivers
( inkl. poweramp )
Is DAB+ known around here as in Europe ?

TIA
and best regards

Klaus

Never heard of it until now. It appears to be a DYI digital radio tuner/receiver?

What's wrong with a laptop, an internet connection and a Internet Radio player app ??? There has got to be tens of thousands of stations out there for free... I like some Soma FM radio stations and Radio Paradise to name a few...

We have the X1800H but can't get FM because we don't have the antenna connected, and we don't use it.

The only digital radio station we listen to is available on Tunein via HEOS. My guess is most users will have Internet access, so they'll opt for this method of listening rather than trying to get reception via an FM antenna, which can only cover up to about 100 miles or so.

The internet is pretty ubiquitous... Cell Phones, Laptops, DeskSides... You are logged on here at AVNirvana across the internet... And with the right player you can get radio stations from around the world... For instance https://radio.garden

It would be helpful if you told us a bit about your use case and what the rest of the system would include... Stereo, surround, sub(s)? 70 watts may or may not be enough for some speakers...

This ( or the previous ) AV receiver is connected to my home studio
via additional i/o of the Motu 896mk3HD
It serves as additional music source, phono preamp, and drives a pair of small speakers
and additional phones
I am preparing for a new 're-clocked' rig ( see handdraw )
The DCX2496 is a modified one ( AES input resampling by Pilgham Audio

It looks like you are doing a bit of mixing/mastering? The Marantz Stereo 70 would fit the bill as long as those small speakers can be driven well with 70 watts per channel... The only other thing to think about is that "Marantz house sound"... Warmth... And if that is what you want in your signal chain...
