UCLA has beaten two ranked teams. Next game will be a decider for sure against Oregon.

Ole Miss only beat 1 ranked team. Will have to see how they do against Alabama later.

Sonnie, I know it stinks to see your boys lose. But, that game was EPIC. Really good for college football! Good news for Bama, one loss doesn't knock them out. They carry so much clout... if anything, a loss might just kick them into a higher gear!

I hope you are right, and maybe we get to meet the Vols again in the SEC championship game. Who knows.

I agree... great game, and it didn't bother me a bit that they won. Saban needs a loss every now and then to bring him to reality. Extremely happy for the Vol fans too... it's been a long time and they have great reason to celebrate. Winning all the time comes too naturally for most Bama fans, so the excitement of winning has worn off, as it the sadness with losing. There was a day when it wasn't that way... and I'm sure it will return one day. We can't win like we've been doing forever and ever.

Me too... TCU is hot... really like that coach. I don't know why, but I like him for some reason.

Of course Tennessee is hotter I think... and I believe they will take Georgia.

I'm not sure about Bama... not feeling it either really. We will have to play one of our better games to win, not only this week, but the next couple of weeks.

Did Kansas State really beat Oklahoma State that bad... what in the world happened there? That just don't even look right... at all ... like a huge mistake or something.

I watched that game on a rebroadcast. OSU couldn’t do anything and everything Kansas State did worked. It was even more lopsided than the final score IMHO. Weird to see it.

Hump day is over and Saturday approaches. It’s going to be an exciting day!

Well... the Tide's hope to make the playoffs is over for this season. It don't get any better than that for LSU fans... congrats to the Tigers. They have a pretty clear path to play the Dawgs in the SEC championship. Not sure anyone can take the Dawgs though... I truly think they will repeat. Kirby has it going on... he's the next Nick Saban.

I think we will lose again next week to Ole Miss. Maybe we can beat Auburn as a consolation win. Our O line and defense are just not up to par. I thought our D would be better this season. I've been doing my best to give Golden the benefit of the doubt, but I don't think he's got what need to have the kind of D that can win it all.

What about the Irish... wow! Where did that come from? I guess Clemson is likely out of the picture now.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but UK has looked pretty good in their first couple of games this year. Not at all like the last couple years where they left you wondering how they ever got ranked that high pre-season. Zags are on the schedule soon. That may tell a lot about how their season will unfold.

As for the Tide... Had to happen sooner or later.
But there's still a ton of great football left to watch this season without them in the mix.
