(December 16, 2025) Cleer Audio has been quietly carving out a niche for itself by doing something many headphone brands struggle with: making a genuinely useful product that excels in performance categories. We saw that firsthand when we reviewed the Cleer Arc 2, which remain my favorite exercise earbuds to date. They stayed put, sounded far better than an open ear design had any right to, and never made me feel cut off from the world around me. That combination of practicality and thoughtful engineering set the tone for what Cleer's all about, and it sets the stage for the company’s latest move.

The new Arc 4 Series builds directly on that foundation, expanding the lineup with two models aimed at listeners who want open ear comfort without treating sound quality as an afterthought. The Arc 4 and Arc 4+ share the same core design philosophy, but they’re clearly aimed at slightly different users, which is where things get interesting.

Starting with the Arc 4 (Click to Buy on Amazon), this is the more accessible entry point, but it doesn’t read like a stripped-down version. Cleer positions it as an everyday open ear option that checks a lot of music-focused boxes. It carries THX certification, supports Dolby Audio, and uses a 16.2mm driver paired with Cleer’s DBE 4.0 dynamic bass enhancement. Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless support means it’s ready for high-quality wireless playback, while multipoint makes switching between devices painless. The open ear design remains the headline feature, keeping situational awareness intact for workouts, commuting, or long days at a desk.

Where the Arc 4+ steps ahead is in spatial presentation and added refinement. Dolby Atmos optimization comes into play here, along with head tracking powered by onboard sensors. That means the soundstage stays anchored as you move, adding a sense of space that goes beyond standard stereo playback. Battery life also stretches a bit further, physical on/off controls are added directly to the earbuds, and Apple MFi certification is added for tighter iOS integration.

Both models share the same lightweight, ergonomic design, coming in at just under 11 grams per earbud, and both carry an IPX7 rating, making them well-suited to sweat, rain, and everyday abuse. Call quality is handled by Qualcomm cVc microphones, and Cleer’s companion app allows EQ tweaks, control customization, and battery monitoring. In short, the Arc 4 Series feels like Cleer taking everything it learned from earlier generations and tightening the screws across the board.

Availability and pricing break cleanly between the two models. The Cleer Arc 4 is available now in black and white for $99.99 through CleerAudio.com and authorized dealers. The Arc 4+ arrives in January 2026, priced at $129.99, and will be available exclusively through Amazon in black, white, and a distinctive pink finish.
