(January 9, 2020) Dirac is broadening its North American reach with a new technology and corresponding app designed for use with smartphones and mobile devices. According to Dirac, this system works with any audio encode and all types of headphones. Its purpose is to amp your headphone listening experience, enriching audio with notable levels of detail and clarity.
“Our new solution takes an experience once reserved for the few and makes it available to the masses – enabling the world to experience immersive, adaptive, and maximized sound from smaller devices than ever before,” said Dirac co-founder & CEO Dr. Mathias Johansson. “We’re revealing the layers of sound you never knew existed to create a fuller, purer experience – no matter what you’re listening on.”
Backed by nearly 18 years of experience and over 17 different patents and industry partnerships, Dirac is currently discussing potential agreements with some of the smartphone industry’s biggest heavy hitters. One such agreement (yet to be disclosed) is set to be announced during Q1 of 2020.
While not officially launched for public consumption, Dirac did demo the new mobile app at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you’re curious to see the app in action, click on the video link below.
