(NAD) The new M10 is an elegant jack-of-all-trades music focused amp.
(January 7, 2019) Today, NAD officially announced its all-new Master Series M10, a new hybrid streaming amplifier solution. Priced at $2,499, the M10 carries a robust amplifier section for powering traditional speakers, while also offering BluOS performance for streaming and anchoring a whole home audio system.

The M10 carries a wide array of digital and analog inputs for integration into a range of systems, including standard 2-channel stereo rigs and 4K TV media centers. And because it carries an HDMI port with Audio Return Channel (ARC), sound from ARC compatible TVs can be played through linked stereo speakers. It also carries wireless functionality through Bluesound’s music management software, BluOS. BluOS supports Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) playback, as well as native playback of music from over 15 music streaming services and audio files stored on local drives. It’s also Apple AirPlay 2 compatible.

BluOS opens the door to whole-home audio, with the power to command and control Hi-Res music throughout a home. Owners can choose to synch music across rooms or create zones for varied playback. The entire system can be controlled by the BluOS App or the M10’s Hi-Res TFT color touch screen. Additionally, control can be managed by voice using Amazon Alexa or Siri, or through a range of smart home systems including Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and more.

The M10’s onboard amp utilizes NAD’s acclaimed HybridDigital amp with a Hypex nCore amplification stage. Rated at 100 watts per channel, NAD says the amp can drive “virtually any loudspeaker.” And while sound output is touted as dynamic and effortless, sound quality can be tuned using the M10’s onboard Dirac Live LE Correction suite*.

The M10 is set to begin shipping during February 2019.

*Editor's Note: Since the time of publish, NAD has revised its press material. Originally, it was implied that the M10 would ship with the full version of Dirac Live. It will, in fact, ship with the LE version.

Adding a video... unfortunately, audio quality on this one suffers a bit. But, posting anyway. Thanks to Lenbrook and Marshall for spending time with us!
