I use an older Denon receiver. Can't speak to your specific model of speaker, but I can tell you that most of the center channel speakers I have seen have the "MTM" design, which does not tightly localize the center. I fought back by making an extremely ugly looking center channel speaker by putting a good Altec Lansing coaxial speaker (came out of an old church PA installation, and was designed for vocal clarity above all else) into an old slant front breadbox (curbside special). The result? Absolutely clear and clean dialogue sharply localized at the center. I wish I could recommend a current model of center channel speaker that was designed this way (well, maybe not with a breadbox), but but the demand for "flat and skinny under the screen" probably prevents that. GRRRR!

did you use Audyssey properly and how is your speaker placed? the most made mistake is below a TV blowing to the floor, desk and couch

center speakers are in general a compromise - in a perfect world you have the identical speakers for fronts and center which implies canvas instead a TV

Did sound issues just start? Or is the speaker new?

Bump up the level of the CC by 2-3 db in the speaker settings after running Audyssey properly. IF CC is under the TV, use some acoustic foam angled at 10 degrees to direct the sound to the MLP. If that doesn't help, I would highly recommend an inexpensive 3 way center channel from the manufacturer of your FL and FR. If that deosnt exist or too expensive, then a 3 way from SVS or Monoprice.
