How close is the middle listening position to the mains? Look like it's close. Maybe 6'?

Thanks... yeah... my seat is now at just a little over 7ft from the 15A's.

It was one of those things that I noticed I when moving my head forward (or leaning forward) a few inches it sounded better... more immersed, so I tried move my seat about 7-8 inches closer to the front wall, and it worked. I had to toe-in the speakers just a little more, but it worked out great. It was already very good, but that move was like the sprinkles on top of the icing.

That's actually further back than it appears in the video... but video and images don't always translate space well.

Love how you have blankets over your primary listening spot. You're in deep, brother!! :-)

Yep... that recliner back has 4 blankets over it total... two folded underneath the custom slip-on cover I had made, then the fluffy blanket on top of it. I was getting some reflections off that table to the left side, so I covered it with a couple of blankets as well. The table on the right is lower and has a lot of stuff on it, so nothing was bouncing off of it. Weird how those things can make a difference.

I did get rid of the recliners to the left and right of the front row... wanted to open it up a bit... and I believe it helped. I didn't do any before and after measurements... probably should have.

Looks great Sonnie! In my last house I had my HT setup in the living room, and I decided to take the 2 car garage and make a dedicated HT out of it. I built a 2 car carport on the other side of our old house too for our cars...best thing I ever did was building a dedicated room. In our new house I am wishing I still had a dedicated room, but all the rooms would be too small for a dedicated room except for our MB.

There is a lot next door to our house that I wanted to buy and put a 2 car garage on with a HT above it (my wife would then have a large space for the dogs, and we could cut a hole in the side wall for a door), and connect it to our 2nd floor, but my wife said no.
