So I am finally coming around to asking a question about getting inputs to play nicely together on my Denon AVR-1910. I have a Bluray player, and a Wii (RCA output). I can't get both to work. I either have to have only HDMI inputs to the receiver, or only RCA. My current awesome workaround is running my Wii to the TV and I get sound to the AVR from that. This is my first "big boy" receiver, and I can't figure it out. I've assigned the inputs multiple times, and I just can't figure it out. I even read the manual
.
A second, related (unrelated?) question - handshake. I have found that if I don't turn the AVR on first and let it cycle all its relays, etc. and then turn on the TV, Bluray, etc. I will get no sound. Picture is there, but no sound from mains or the TV. Not a big deal to me, but when my wife is wanting to put something on with the setup, and it no worky, she no happy.
TIA!
