Hi All,

I'm new here. I used REW with Sierra with no problems, since Mojave installed first I was not able to measure due to no input from sound card, then I uninstalled previous version of REW (it was 5.18 I think), I installed 5.20 and I can i.e. make "Check Levels" and it shows levels correctly, (so I have in and out signals) but in "Preference" window, clicking "Calibrate" button soft looks like hanged and no working :(

Please, help!

Thanks in advance!

Unless you need it for a timing reference, you can skip the calibration. Most interfaces these days have ruler flat response and as such don’t need calibration.

Wayne

Calibrate soundcard isn't working on macOS for 5.20 beta 2, it is fixed for the next beta. As Wayne says, you can just skip it.

Hello, i’ve just got a M-Audio track 2x2 and i get a minidsp umik-1 for analyse and calibrate my system.
I use osx Mojave with the last rew version from this forum.
When i try to check level, there is not sound output from the track 2x2.. if i choose another output, i have sound output.

Can you help me please? Is it because is a bêta version of rew?

Thanks you !

I think it is unlikely to be a beta issue, but you never know. On the REW soundcard preferences there is an option to generate a debug file, please use that when the track 2x2 is connected and selected in REW and attach the file here.

Here is the debug file, but today it's working fine. I've got a output signal on the track 2X2 and I've made some measurements with the Umik-1.
Thanks you for your help!
