You can use the mic without a cal file, just don't pay too much attention to what it is showing above a few kHz. Fine for working out sub/speaker/listening positions, integrating subs and mains and the like.

I was going to post this exact question. So, for subwoofer integration and alignment the Anthem mic is adequate without a cal file?

I use my ARC Mic. works fine for most purposes in REW.

Compare a sweep graph using the Left Speaker In ARC Genesis (calibrated), then use REW with the ARC Mic (uncalibrated) and do the same sweep. I used an SPL meter to confirm both were at 75db. Compare both graphs and you see where the differences are.
They arent exactly the same of course, but, as John said, below a few Khz your good.

For Phase, sub placement, mains intergration, works great!

Yea, I tried for a long time to get that calibration file unencrypted to no avail. I actually called Anthem and asked. This is exactly what the Tech said to me:

"Thats our proprietarty software, why the hell would we allow our Mic to be used with our competition?"

I laughed at him, then I said to him, REW was free, what competition?

Alas..to no avail as well.
