(January 16, 2026) Campfire Audio is moving its Andromeda 10 flagship out of limited-edition territory and into its regular lineup with the launch of a new Classic Green standard edition. Originally introduced last year in Black and Gold anniversary finishes, Andromeda 10 now becomes a permanent part of Campfire’s lineup, carrying forward the same tuning and internal design in a lighter housing and a more service-friendly platform.

The transition from special edition to standard release maintains a core acoustic architecture. Part of that is a ten-driver – yes, TEN DRIVER – balanced armature array per side, doubling the original Andromeda’s driver count and positioning the model as the most technically ambitious version of the platform to date. The configuration is arranged as four low, four mid, and two high drivers, allowing each frequency band to operate with greater headroom and less overlap under dynamic listening conditions.

Campfire continues to rely on its current tuning technologies to shape the Andromeda 10’s sound. The Non-Enclosed Midrange Chamber, or NEMC, is designed to improve openness and articulation through the midrange, while the Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber, known as TAEC, extends high-frequency performance while controlling distortion. Together, these elements are billed to improve spatial presentation and fine detail while preserving the tonal balance that has long defined the Andromeda name.

Where the Standard Edition diverges from the Limited Edition run is in materials and connectivity. The housing is now anodized aluminum finished in Campfire’s signature green, replacing the stainless steel shells used previously. This change reduces the overall weight of each bud. The connector also shifts to a 2-pin interface, marking the first time Campfire has used this standard on an IEM. For users, this opens up broader cable compatibility and simplifies long-term maintenance and replacement scenarios.

Campfire includes its Time Link modular cable system with the Andromeda 10 Standard Edition, offering interchangeable terminations for 3.5 mm single-ended, 4.4 mm balanced, and USB-C DAC connections. This lends itself to easy integration with portable players, desktop setups, and mobile devices without the need for adapters.

The Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 Classic Green has a suggested retail price of $1,799 and will be available shortly through a range of retailers, including Amazon. The Andromeda 10 Special Editions, limited to 250 units per finish, remain available through select dealers at $2,499. Visit campfireaudio.market for information.
