CalMAN Auto Calibration for 2018 LG OLEDs and Super UHD TVs

Portrait Displays has announced that 2018 OLEDs and Super UHD TVs will be able to be automatically calibrated using CalMAN. Announcement here:

I recently had the opportunity to calibrate a 65" LG C8. I'll be adding some charts here later this week.

It was bit interesting to say the least. CalMAN is still in Beta for this and it requires a few other tricks just to get it all working properly. To give you an idea, I calibrated a 55" version of last year's C7 today and it took roughly 4.5 hours to calibrate Dolby Vision, HDR Cinema, HDR Game and technicolor Expert. The C8 with it's auto calibration took two trips and roughly 11 hours. IIRC, the auto calibration of Dolby Vision itself took roughly an hour and a half or so. On the C7s it takes about 30-45 minutes.
