(April 22, 2026) Bowers & Wilkins is adding fresh style options to one of its most premium wireless headphones, giving buyers a few more reasons to spend $799 in good taste.
The company has announced two new finishes for its flagship Px8 S2 over-ear wireless headphones: Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue. Both versions retain the same upscale materials package that helped define the model, including Nappa leather trim and aluminum detailing, but now arrive in colorways that lean a bit more expressive than the existing Onyx Black and Warm Stone options. The McLaren Edition remains in the mix as well, bringing the total Px8 S2 lineup to five finishes.
This move also reflects a broader strategy from Bowers & Wilkins. Following recent finish expansions for the Px7 S3 and Pi8, the brand now says its wireless headphone and earbud portfolio spans 21 total variants, the largest color offering it has ever presented across its in-ear and over-ear categories.
As with previous finish updates across the Bowers & Wilkins lineup, nothing changes under the hood. The new Px8 S2 finishes continue to offer the same flagship-level performance the model is known for, meaning the decision here comes down to taste rather than compromise.
For those unfamiliar with the Px8 S2, it sits at the top of Bowers & Wilkins’ wireless headphone range, targeting listeners who want elevated materials, luxury styling, and a more audiophile-minded take on wireless listening. We reviewed it late last year and found a headphone that meaningfully refines the original Px8, with cleaner processing, stronger active noise cancellation, improved call clarity, and a more customizable user experience. In our testing, it delivered articulate, controlled sound with excellent tonal balance and a polished sense of dynamics, while its premium materials and overall finish help reinforce its flagship positioning.
In other words, excellent stuff.
The new Px8 S2 Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue finishes are available now for $799. More information can be found at bowerswilkins.com.
Note, you can buy the Px8 S2 through Amazon in Onyx Black and Warm Stone.
