Well phooey, can you at least get a review pair? I think you at least need to experience them with the ML's!

Maybe at some point we will. Can't ever tell.

Ah, man... was hoping to see some images of these integrated into your cinema!

Don't give up... just got to go a lesser expensive route for now.

Black would make a nice Christmas in July present to yourself, Sonnie!

That sounds like a reasonable plan to me.

Just an update and a couple of comments: the Crimsons vary in color from dark to bright red! Not unusual for Bob. There have been models where no two were indentical! He never stops improving product although we've managed to get him to leave things alone with the new products.

Next:damping factor and frequency response--two nonsensical issues. We've heard countless mediocre products with "perfect" specs. Units with ruler-flat frequency responses can sound entirely different. Tube amps typically have one or two ohm (or greater) output impedances, resulting in lower damping factors yet scientists from Futterman to Bedini to Carver all favored one ohm outputs and all were considered top amp designers. If you wish, I'll explain why but do not private message me through the forum. I can be reached through carversunfire@gmail.com or though our Bob Carver website. Forget specs and just listen. I'll try to respond to posts but if I'm tardy, I'm doing shows all over the world and can never catch up with all the inquires and Sunfire repairs.

While we back up our 350s forever--including tubes (!), not everyone can afford $9500 so we are shipping our new stereo amp in 90 days--100 WPC, auto-bias, swap tubes, no problem, five year warranty on amp AND TUBES, $2500 or so.

This is not a commercial announcement. You'll notice I never reference the sound of our products; listen for yourself and decide. Believe no one--not even me. Do not believe reviews or web opinion unless there's a large body of positive feedback.

Above all, have fun. Enjoy your hobby.

Loved that setup... love those amps! Good to hear from you Frank.

Looks like a similar set up to what was demoed at CAF 2017... which sounded incredible!!! The imaging on those line array speakers is pure magic!

Nice to see you in the forum! Welcome. Any chance Sonnie can finally get a pair of Tube Amps to listen too. He's all concerned about money...heck, if I had his I could burn what little I have :dontknow:! Would love to see what he thinks about them with his ML's.
