Well AV NIRVANA, Bass Hunters has been on the back burner for far too long – one year to be exact. So, I'd like to introduce you to a completely revamped version of the show. I've made technical changes on my end that will allow me to harvest and analyze data far more quickly, while also completely trashing the old format of the show in favor of something that's faster paced and more to the point. You'll find three distinct sections – Infrasonics, Atmospherics, and LFE Bass – where I'll illustrate the kind of bass characteristics encoded in a film (or films). Then, at the end, you can watch full clips paired with an analysis tool if you choose. Also, I've developed new graphics and chapter markers that reduce the amount of time I need to talk – ultimately making transitions in the show faster.
Hope you enjoy.
Big shout out to our partners in this venture: Kaleidescape, Ascendo Immersive Audio, Sutherland AV Marketing, and SignalScope X! Their contributions to the show are more than noteworthy, so please click on their links, see what they're about, and give them your business. They are all excellent in their own right!
On this episode of Bass Hunters, we dive into the insane, bass-heavy world of Trinnov's immersive sound Trailers. There are currently ten available, seven of which can be downloaded onto your Kaleidescape system for free. If you aren't a Kaleidescape owner, don't dispare because you access all of them in either 2.35:1 or 16:9 aspect ratios, in Atmos and Auro-3D, by clicking here and visiting Trinnov's website.
Enjoy the show!
