Heya

I'm currently trying to run AudioLense Convolver so I can apply convolution to windows sounds. However I'm struggling to get it to start.
When I run the program (normal or as admin) I see the box in the bottom right saying it is calibrating for a few seconds, then it disappears and no icon remains in the tray.

In windows event viewer I see this:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
and APPID
{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
to the user GoldenSoundDesk\camer SID (S-1-5-21-1714844571-570700731-1997347526-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

But in dcomcnfg I can't see either the audiolense host/audiolense convolver program or an entry matching either the CLSID or AppID.
Has anyone else run into this issue or knows how to fix it?

You need a mediator to make the convolver work with windows sound. And my clear recommendation for that is jriver.

Install jriver and activate its wdmaudio driver. Choose Jriver as default sound card in Windows. Choose Audiolense as Jriver’s sound card. Keep Jriver open at all times. It needs to be open when you e.g stream tv material.
