(September 9, 2019) AudioControl is using CEDIA’s grand stage to reveal a stable of AV receivers and processors. All five models, which include three AVRs and two pre-pros, are slated to begin shipping during Q4, 2019.

The all-new Maestro X9 and X7 processors possess the ability to drive an incredibly immersive experience using either balanced or unbalanced outputs. Owners can use either to orchestrate 9.1.6 immersive sound experiences across Atmos, Auro-3D, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced encoded media, with room correction conducted by Dirac Live with Bass Management. A full array of inputs is headlined by seven HDMI 2.0 ports that support modern 4K UHD and HDR demands. And who can complain about the inclusion of streaming features that support Google Cast, Airplay 2, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi streaming connectivity – features you don't always find on higher-end standalone processors.

On the AVR front, the Concert XR-8 and Concert XR-6 also carry 9.1.6 processing capabilities, with the XR-8 packing 200 watts of output per channel. The step-down XR-4 is designed to drive a 7.1 multichannel experience, carrying significantly lower power capabilities.

All five models will be on display at CEDIA 2019 (booth #1813). For more detailed information, read the entire press release from AudioControl (below).

Yeah, Monolith looks great, although there is also the Emotive XMC-2. Which is hard to recommend now given the issues the RMC-1 has had, but when it is confirmed stable and has Dirac, at $3k it will probably be a better bargain than the HTP-1 which I believe will be $4k. I do hope Monoprice releases the HTP-1 in much better operational condition than Emotiva released the RMC-1 . . .

I am hoping it has the reliability of the ATI...since it is made by ATI.

That BM system is really cool.. used it with my miniDSP standalone unit in my previous systems that did not include DL. Also use it now in my C-DSP installed in my RAM truck. You can seriously tune a sub with it... level, delay, crossover and 10 channels of PEQ for each channel... and that can include multiple subs. I wish they would add that to my NAD M17.
