The ATH-ADX3000 features advanced driver technology, similar to the company's ATH-ADX5000 flagship model. Equipped with 58mm tungsten-coated diaphragms, a pure iron magnetic circuit, and Core Mount Technology, this design balances acoustic space in front of and behind the driver, which, according to the company, helps reduce distortion for a cleaner, more natural sound.
An open-back design allows for unrestricted airflow, enhancing soundstaging and delivering what the company describes as a more realistic audio experience. The diaphragm’s lightweight and responsive nature, combined with the iron magnet’s dynamic range, attributes to an audio canvas complete with well-defined bass, a smooth midrange, and extended highs.
