Hey peeps.

Like the topic says, even if i move the slider, it stays at 512 resulting in crakling speakers when doing rew sweeps.

What setting is controlling that setting?

I have tried Flex asio but the check level db reading is way off from the actual db..

i made a short clip of it

Use FlexASIO. Incorrect levels are generally cal file issues rather than driver issues
Im using the umik 90 deg cal file, but the db says 90 db even before i turned up the volume, My room noise usually stay around 50+ when using java or asioforall, but Flex says 85? So something is wrong somewhere

Meaning in the Cal files preferences entry for FlexASIO you have loaded the UMIK cal file?

ah wait...i can "calibrate" it by lowering the volume slider in windows

Screenshots of your Cal files preferences, FlexASIO control panel and soundcard preferences might help, but if REW isn't able to access the volume control to correct for it you can just set it to 0 dB. If you right click on the volume control in the Windows audio properties Levels tab for the UMIK input you can select dB as the display.
