(February 3, 2026) ARCAM is bringing the Radia Series into the home theater world. Today, the company announced the first AV products in its Radia Series, a full lineup that includes three Audio Video Amplifiers, the 16-channel AVP45 processor, and two matching power amps. It’s a major expansion for a platform that originally launched on the two-channel side, and it arrives with one headline feature that continues to reshape the premium home cinema market: Dirac Live Active Room Treatment.
Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, ARCAM has a long history of AV innovation, from early NICAM tuners to some of the industry’s first audiophile-focused AV amplifiers. With Radia, the company is blending that legacy with a refreshingly wicked modern look and feature set aimed squarely at immersive home theater systems. The lineup includes the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35 Audio Video Amplifiers, the AVP45 16-channel processor, plus the PA4 and PA9 power amplifiers. Visually, the series carries over the Radia look with black chassis, yellow accents, and large 6.5" color displays. Functionally, it’s packed with modern connectivity, including HDMI with eARC, Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, and hi-res streaming via Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect.
All models support up to 24-bit, 192 kHz audio and are Roon Ready.
On the immersive side, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are supported across the line, while the AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 smartly add Auro-3D to their repertoire. The AVP45 processor expands decoding to 16 channels and includes balanced outputs and IMAX Enhanced support, positioning it as a control hub for larger, high-channel-count theaters.
Where things get especially interesting is ARCAM’s decision to make Dirac Live Active Room Treatment available across its flagship Radia AV models. The AVA15, AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 all support Dirac Live Room Correction, Dirac Live Bass Control, and Dirac Live ART. Though the latter two require additional fees to purchase and activate. This marks another important step in ART’s expansion beyond its original home on ultra high-end processors. Once limited to StormAudio, ART is now appearing on a growing range of consumer-facing home theater products. This is great news for the larger enthusiast community and a clear signal that Dirac views Active Room Treatment as a long-term pillar of its ecosystem.
Power amplification also gets attention with this launch. The PA4 is a compact four-channel Class D amplifier designed for height, surround, or secondary zone duties. The PA9 features nine channels of ARCAM’s Class G amplification, delivering higher efficiency and dynamic headroom for demanding immersive systems. The PA9 is clearly intended as a natural partner to the AVP45 processor, creating a scalable path toward larger Atmos and Auro configurations.
Availability and pricing are set for later this year. The Radia AVA and AVP models will be available through authorized ARCAM dealers starting in Q3 2026. The PA series power amplifiers follow in Q4.
