A 9 part series starting this Friday.

From Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman—the producers of Band of Brothers and The Pacific. During World War II, airmen risk their lives with the 100th Bomb Group, a brotherhood forged by courage, loss, and triumph.

Looks pretty awesome!

Brings back memories of the war movies my dad used to watch back when I was a kid. Of course those were black and white on a console TV. Nothing like the audio and video quality of what this will be.

I’m looking forward to starting this soon. Looks like a really good production with some great AV. As for streaming Apple TV usually doesnt disappoint.

I’m really enjoying the story so far. The A/V experience isn’t what other AppleTV shows normally are (in my opinion) but it’s no slouch.

This is another one of these streaming shows/moves with Dialnorm set to 5db and mastered a couple db lower than reference. Mike if you have a chance try re-watching some of the last episode about 7db higher than your normal listening level and see if that helps.

Will do. The surround effects are great, but they feel like the bass is a bit lacking. It may just be a compression issue due to streaming. Either way, I’ll happily watch it again!
