Apple TV + : Long Way Up

The cinematography on this one is very good. This is another one on ATV+ that I'm enjoying.

This week's episode taking them to Machu Picchu was some awesome video. The little handheld cameras they're using are phenomenal!

I kind of want them to go back to Africa and re-shoot Long Way Down with today's technology.

I might have to check this one out.

The cameras are a mix between GoPros, Sony Action Cams, and the real eye candy is an assortment of Blackmagic cameras...even the little Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera, which only records at 1080p, but its ability to use interchangeable lenses and filming in a RAW format can make incredibly beautiful images. And the Pocket Cinema Cameras at 6K are mind boggling without even factoring in that they start at $1300. The GoPros now shoot up to 5K, and the Sony cameras are 4K.

Which one was Evan using when he walked down to Machu Picchu? It was a tiny little thing and rather image on screen seemed 3D like.

I’ll try and guess when I get to that episode.
