Hello all and thanks for allowing me to be a part of your community. I'm in the process of eventually getting a umik 1 and mini dsp HD and I'm very excited. It's going to take a while before it reaches me because I live in Barbados and I'd have to ship it to the U.S. first and then to me so here's my question. Is the Apex 220 capable of calibrating my subs using REW? I can get that mic from a local store to use along with REW to get familiar with the software for the time being but I don't want to purchase it if it doesn't measure below 20hz accurately or if it isn't compatible with REW.

That's the first I've heard of that mic. In any event,you would also have to buy a USB interface with mic pre amp and phantom power to use it with REW. Probably best to just wait for your UMIK.
