Howdy folks!
I’m new to this forum, and also new to using room correction. It’s a very exciting great day for me, as I was able to purchase a gently used Anthem MRX1120 receiver. It’s a huge step up from my existing Rotel 5.1 Pre-Amp/Amp setup. I be finally acquired some fantastic older M&K S150THX speakers for the Left,right,Center, and a pair of S550 surrounds. Lucky to have found the matching S350 THX sub and added a second M1250 sub to get the rumble started. Still trying to find more Di-pole, preferably Tri-pole M&K’s to fill this system out. Anybody?…….
I would welcome advice on setup and tweaks and anything that you feel you could share for a giddy OG audio nerd.
My theater room is a mini Barn shape, 12’ x 15’ x 7’ walls, with a gambrel ceiling(4 angles like a barn) max height inside is 12’.
Currently I’m starting to mount the speakers. Who out there is still with me? Hit me up.
