Amazon Prime's The Boys

This is one of two new series that we started recently and are enjoying. The story is basically about super heroes running amok within the country. So some citizens take it upon themselves to police them on their own.

The first episode, which laid the groundwork, was a bit slow but the second one reeled us back into it.

We finished season 1 last night and it was great! Never saw that finish coming at all! Cannot wait for season 2!!!

I enjoyed this show. Didn’t know if I would at first..but it picks up pretty quickly.

I’m caught up this series and I have hand it to my wife for dropping out on this one. It gets pretty weird at times. Well, most of the time.

Definitely some unnecessary material which has nothing to do with the core storyline which could have been left out.
I think, unfortunately, it reflects the decline of our society’s mental state….the gutter.
