Interesting theory. It addresses the criticism that room correction is not possible above the Schroeder frequency by only correcting for a single microphone point when there's huge variation in the distance between both ears. Room correction can often make the sound worse, particularly if the speaker has a flat on axis and smooth off-axis response. One aspect of using multiple subs for room correction is that bass is non-directional. Unless your side and ceiling speakers are at the reflection points from your front speakers, it would be interesting to hear how the use of other speakers to "cancel" wall reflections affects that aspect of what you hear.
