Hello all
Just wanted to show off some amps I finished up building.
These use the 3e class d stereo modules with PFFB 2x260@4ohms.
They sound fantastic. Clear, precise, neutral. These are not fatiguing at all. Very class A/B sounding.
So far I’ve built a two channel for a friend and a 4 channel for myself that powers the mids and highs of my active 3way system.
All in cost was roughly $400 for the stereo build and $1000 for the 4 channel. (I splurged on power supply’s and extra caps)
Highly highly recommend this build.

Wow... so not only did you build your own speakers, you built your amps too. Nice work!

And in the process of building a Dac/Streamer too.

I have built several class D amps. Is this the TPA3255 module? Also have you been able to compare the sound with Post Feedback on vs off? I've heard that there are mixed reactions to the PFFB circuit. Overall the TPA3255;s that I have built have been very nice sounding amplifiers. How does this sound?

Yes it is the TPA3255. I did not compare it with PFFB off. That’s why I wanted this module in the first place, so there was no odd frequency dependent behavior.
This amp is in another league compared to other 3255 amps (think Purifi)
Doesn’t sound like class D at all.

I recently did my 3rd TPA3255. I did one of the early 3e that was fully balanced, I then did a cheap board and replaced/upgraded the filter caps. I just did another cheap board.... Found some fairly small 10uf cbb caps, replaced the input caps with those, turned the board over and bypassed all other electrolytic on the board, put a good switching supply on it and added 54,000 uf between the supply and power input. Switched out the 5532 opamps, I'm trying OPa1656 and LME 49860. This amplifier sounds excellent.

I swapped in OPA1656 on an Aiyima
A07 sometime ago and it was a huge improvement. Great opamp for sure!

I’m blown away with how good these 3e sound.
I’m waiting for them to restock the mono boards so I can try a dual mono set up.
