You might say KC won that one by the skin of a toe. :sarcastic:

The Niners are going to be tough again this year. I believe they could win it all. They seemed to have picked up right where they left off last year, except with a vengeance this year.

Tua went down hard last night. That was UGLY. I feel for the guy. If I were in his inner circle, I'd advise him to retire yesterday. He's playing with serious fire by running around with a brain that's been taken off line 3 times in almost a year.

A few years back, a friend of mine knocked himself out playing a sport. It took nearly a year to fully recover. These NFL guys are getting their heads beaten in, only to get pushed back out on the field.

IMO: It's not worth it.

I wholeheartedly agree... one day, he ain't gonna get up. Either way, he will likely end up like Muhammed Ali when he gets older.

Since the start of high school football a few weeks ago, we've had two deaths and one hospitalized in our neck of the woods down here, and one of those deaths was from a head concussion.

No doubt his injuries have riddled his career. He doesn't need the money to live comfortably for the remainder of his life. Let football go, man, so you can live that remainder.

He should retire but he will not. Too competitive.

From bolavip

According to a report from Ian Rapoport, Tua Tagovailoa won’t retire from the NFL after suffering the third concussion of his career. The quarterback will follow the league’s protocol and then work to take the field again.

“QB Tua Tagovailoa has no plans to retire, sources say. He’s already begun seeing concussion specialists and will continue to do so, but there is no timeline to return. Tua will be back when he and his doctors deem him healthy and ready.”

I will have to revisit that movie, Concussion..

Hey... my Jets get a win with the new QB... woohoo!

San Fran drops to Minnesota... hmmm.

I'm heart-broken that my boy Jalen didn't get the win earlier tonight.

Just remember, it is very early and It's a long season!

Yes... but I'm always heart-broken when he loses. He's my favorite QB of all time. His humbleness at Bama is unmatched... likely by any QB anywhere.
