2024 - 2025 NCAA Football

That would be interesting, for sure.

It should be interesting to see how well Kentucky will compete with Ole Miss, given they gave Georgia all they wanted.

Otherwise... I'm not seeing any really big games this weekend. :whistling:

Don't know much about him, but there are a few teams in need of a good QB.

I didn't read the whole thing... maybe it was verbal, which comes down to he said/she said. If it was contractual, he absolutely needs to get a lawyer.

Yup. Good weekend for a wilderness camping trip.
Or a visit with the Amish relatives.
Me, I’m going to take my wife to a special 7pm showing at the local theater. Beaches. :p

Wow... Miami had to come from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to win. A bit of a struggle for them with an unranked team.

And Washington... what happened to them? I think I know. :whistling:

Kentucky is for real, guys. That Georgia game was no fluke. I thought the Ole Miss game would have been somewhat lop-sided in favor of the Rebels. That's why I don't gamble!

What a DOGfight that was... wow!!! I'm glad they spotted us 28 unanswered early on.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!

You got that right! The 1st half Alabama was #1 in the country. Then at the end it was looking like overtime all the way. Let’s hope lesson learned.
How ‘bout that #2? That kid has amazing balance and body control! Might not see a better catch all season.

Oh, man. I didn’t see the game, but Arkansas did themselves in with turnovers. :(

We've definitely played better in the third and fourth quarters in our first few games. But yeah... Ryan Williams is a special player at only 17 years old—two spectacular catches for the highlight reels in that Georgia game.

I thought Auburn pulled Thorne. Did they not learn their lesson with him? Yeah... he may have played a respectable game the first three quarters, but it was bound to happen before the game was over, and he cost them the game. Maybe they would have never been in the lead had he not played, but no way was he going to go thru that game without a pick. Play your freshman and get him some experience because you will not have a winning season regardless with Thorne without some miraculous change in his eyesight.

Bama number one in the AP? Maybe a little surprised about that one. I think Texas is the team to beat right now... and maybe Ohio State and Tennessee. Perhaps it's because they haven't played a Georgia-like team yet.

Oct 19 will sort out the SEC a little better assuming no crazy upset in the meantime.
Georgia will play at Texas
Alabama will play at Tennessee.
Those games better not be on at the same time!

No love in the rankings for Kentucky after a 3 point loss to Georgia and besting Ole Miss?
Even Louisville is ranked atm. There’s no doubt in my mind UK will put a hurt on ‘em in the annual Thanksgiving week game.

It’s not likely, but if the UCF Knights can pull off a win this coming weekend then a Florida Gators 2 win season becomes a lot more likely. UCF got beat up pretty badly by Colorado this past weekend. Maybe they’ll be motivated to earn some respect. Of course Florida should be, too.

That’s one brutal schedule.

I think the Gator might can take the Seminoles this year, but if they lose out, they may have given up by then.

Nothing super exciting this weekend.

I hope Bama doesn't take Vanderbilt too lightly... they played Mizzou close.
