College hoops started..

We shall see who can make it to the final four!

UK has been looking better this year and the game with UNC today will be a great test. Will they continue to progress? Will they continue to play as an unselfish team? Will 7-1” freshman Bradshaw in the lineup now be a help or an adjustment problem?

They’re another young Calipari team of talented recruits who are each used to being in the limelight. We’ll see if they’ve got what it takes under pressure not to revert to their individual comfort zones.

College Basketball is exciting. lots of good teams.

League play has started and the Cats are still looking good!
I was surprised to see Tennessee and Kansas both lost yesterday. The parity in this sport is incredible!

The Tide is back to normal this year... normally not that good. lol

I think we have about one good year every 10-15 years.

Maryland is not doing remotely well. ugh... wasn't supposed to be this way in 2024!

Despite the UK loss, the Texas A&M vs Kentucky game last Saturday was a blast to watch. There was huge playmaking throughout the game.
A favorite moment? UK freshman, Reed Sheppard, hitting two free throws at the end of a hard fought and fast paced regulation thus sending the game into overtime. The kid has ice in his veins.

yeah, that is why I don't update this with rankings. Too many games to keep track. lol.

Once march madness is here, that will be a different story. :)

What a day for college hoops!
#8 Kansas def #4 Houston and the energy in the building was palpable.
On now is one of the greatest sports rivalries ever, #7 Duke is at #3 UNC. and again the vibe in the building is off the charts.
And if that’s not enough, up next #5 Tennessee will roll into Rupp Arena to play the #10 UK Wildcats after they flat out turned a win into a loss against the FL Gators this past Tuesday. The UK faithful will be absolutely rabid tonight.

Can’t believe only 4 more games to the regular season!

UK has had a crazy roller coaster ride this year. Case in point, last week’s games. First they took a blow as LSU defeated them by one point and then come back strong, and I mean strong, against a higher ranked Alabama, throwing up 117pts and actually playing some defense. Well, for most of the game anyway.

Whomever gets them in the Big Dance is going to be sweating bullets, as they say. They can just get crazy hot on offense. If they’ve learned from their mistakes, play a bit of defense and don’t behave like the bunch of teenagers most of them actually are, anything’s possible, although in the end they’re more likely to be taken down by a more experienced and focused team. ‘Till that happens I’ll have fun watching them play!!!

Can't wait for March Madness! Let the madness start!

The wait is almost over as selection Sunday is less than two weeks away!

Watching Alabama vs Florida now. Bama needs a win after going down to #4 Tennessee last Saturday. Florida has other ideas.

This weekend will wrap up the regular season schedule and there are some terrific games on the schedule.

Remember UNC bested Duke at home in February so that will add to the already insane intensity that is Cameron Indoor Stadium. Can’t wait!!!

Can't wait.. March madness will live up to it's name.

UK wins!!! Duke -Carolina coming up.
For anyone not paying attention to UK this year, if you’re a fan of the game carve out some time in the big dance. They are a lot of fun to watch to watch this year.
