October 24th - start of the regular season.

The 78th NBA regular season will tip off on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, and conclude on Sunday, April 14, 2024. The 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament will take place from Tuesday, April 16 – Friday, April 19, followed by the start of the 2024 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel on Saturday, April 20. Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals presented by YouTube TV is set for Thursday, June 6.

Draymond Green was suspended indefinitely by the NBA on Wednesday after the Golden State Warriors veteran's ejection for swinging at Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić on Tuesday night, marking Green’s second suspension this season.

In its announcement, the league said Green will "be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play." It's unclear what that means specifically or how long Green will be out. The league took "into account Green's repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts" when determining this suspension, it said.

The Celtics closed the first quarter of Monday’s NBA Finals Game 5 on a 9-0 run and never looked back en route to a dominant 106-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The win secured a 4-1 win in the NBA Finals and the franchise’s first title since 2008.
