2017 LG OLED TV

My brother in law is asking for my advise. He wants to buy an OLED TV and he saw the 2017 LG OLED65B7P model for around $3K at costco..

I know the 2016 LG OLED65B6P was the "model" to get for the price/value segment..

But, for this new 2017 model, how is the B model?

I know for the 2016 model, the B model got rave reviews for the value point of view and the only negative was the internal speakers and folks recommended to get a soundbar or external speakers.

How about the 2017 model? I suspect same, right?

Of course, B and C would need external speakers and E comes with integrated speakers but E is very pricey in comparison.

Any thoughts?

The difference between all of the letters is the packaging. They are all the same panel with the same processing.

Thanks. I will relay that to my brother in law. I would suggest if he goes with the B or C model to get a good soundbar or external speakers.
