After browsing various manufacturers of acoustic treatment products, ie: GIK, ASC Traps, etc... I came across a company based in the Netherlands called, Zilplex.
They use very small metal bowl-like structures attached to metal wire/studs. My first thought was, 'Are they serious!?' Maybe someone with more experience can help me
with explaining just a little bit about how these could possibly benefit a listening room.

Thanks! : D

The devices themselves are so small that I'm a little bit skeptical on their effectiveness. Perhaps they aren't setup the same way as conventional acoustic treatment? ie: not trying to correct room flaws but enhance the overall sound/acoustic space of any given room? I don't know if that makes sense the way I said it : P

More likely, they aren't conventional acoustic treatment. ie: not trying to correct room flaws but enhance the overall perception of a given buyer.:coocoo:

They release toxins into the air and mess with your mind... right after you take a hit off that doobie.

Too small to actually do anything useful. This is not the only company that sells trinkets posed as acoustic treatments.

lol... so funny ... but it is so true... it really does boil down to perception of the buyer that believes he hears a difference.

I'm pretty sure these cure most physical ailments, in addition to creating great sound.
