"One of 2020’s most anticipated, longest-delayed movies has settled on a final release date — but the bigger shock is where it will open rather then when.

Warner Bros. made the stunning announcement Wednesday that Wonder Woman 1984, perhaps its biggest tentpole, will open this year on Christmas Day simultaneously in both theaters and on the new streaming service HBO Max."

I just wish HBO Max offered UHD, HDR, and Atmos. I have the service free with my AT&T mobile plan, and there's a ton of great content. They're also going to have the Snyder Cut.

I haven't looked yet but I'm surprised HBO Max doesn't offer those streaming features. It seems almost a necessity if they're going to release Wonder Woman 1984 on that platform! I know a lot of people don't yet own an HDR display, but still : )

They announced in today’s press release that HBO Max will have 4K HDR and Atmos on select devices by the time WW1984 hits.
