(July 23, 2025) WiiM’s Sub Pro, first unveiled earlier this year at High-End Munich, is officially 'on store shelves,' meaning you can buy it and have it shipped to your home. Priced at $449 (click to buy on Amazon), the subwoofer is designed to deliver powerful low-frequency performance, pairing effortlessly with WiiM’s streamers, amplifiers, and speakers, as well as third-party devices equipped with RCA subwoofer outputs.
Packed with 250 watts of power, the Sub Pro leverages an 8-inch custom woofer driven by a Class-D digital amplifier to deliver bass that extends down to a factory-specified 25Hz. Distortion is also reported to be minimal, with a factory-measured THD+N of less than 1%, which should lend to clarity and impactful sound reproduction even at high volumes.
A standout feature is WiiM’s proprietary RoomFit auto-calibration, which takes precise acoustic measurements of your listening environment and automatically adjusts bass output to match room size, speaker placement, and listening position. The result is optimized, room-filling sound tailored specifically to your unique setup. Users can further personalize their listening experience through the WiiM Home App, which provides control over a comprehensive 10-band parametric equalizer, adjustable crossover frequencies, phase control, latency, and bass level management.
Connectivity is versatile, featuring a Wi-Fi 6E wireless connection, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio support, Ethernet connectivity, and an analog RCA input for seamless integration with existing systems. Regular firmware updates promise continuous improvements and new feature integrations, keeping the subwoofer at the forefront of audio performance.
In terms of aesthetics, the sub sports a sleek, modern design with a premium gloss finish, enabling it to blend elegantly into any home décor.
The Sub Pro can be found on Amazon and other popular e-retailers.
