Looking for guidance from someone who has actually used REW to calculate filters that will then go into SPECIFICALLY a Trinnov. What is the correct choice when REW wants me to select one of the many options for filters: miniDSP, or Generic or .......?

I suspect "Generic"is the correct answer but before spending all of the time calculating them and then MANUALLY entering them, I want to be 100% sure I am making the proper selection.

Thank you.

Not your answer but a bit of info —REW help file states that Generic is “based on the Robert Bristow-Johnson 'Cookbook' equations“.

So, a different Question could be does Trinnov “think” the same way?

Manually set a filter in the Trinnov then measure the response from a line output with that filter in place. See if the same filter parameter settings with the Generic equaliser produce the same response shape.

Yes they do. I did not know (my bad) that the help file defined "generic" as RBJ.
