Hi,
My setup is a stereo system, where i added a subwoofer in. The problem is that freq at 117 is creating a great resonance and making the sound boomy. At normal situation where i saw most youtuber use REW to separately tune the speaker and the sub. so that the sub can product the max capability it has. In my case i cant do that, cause once i tune the equaliser at the source side everything get adjusted.
My setup ==> PC ---DAC --Integated amp ----- speaker + sub (T9i)
Attached is the measurement done sparately speaker and sub to understand the weakness and strength of both.
And after that i try to level match the sub to the speaker to get a better freq before calibrating it and this my setting on the rew sub
-- Volume 5 ( i plan to increase it once i calibrate it correctly at this level, am i doing it right)
-- Crossover (25 tick, because i find the roll off at region 100 ~ 120 will not add up the resonance at that boomy region where the speaker already is having a bump up there)
