Toss your wants out there!

I'm looking for Interstellar on 4K... with an immersive sound boost! I'm not sure how true this is (@Michael Scott, you might know), but I believe I read Christopher Nolan is concerned that adding HDR to the image would alter his vision/intent. That being said, I've read that his Batman flicks are getting mastered to 4K.

Fingers x-ed

I would think all of the Marvel/DC movies would look great with 4K/Atmos treatment..

Why would he be concerned about it being more realistic detail-wise with HDR? That makes no sense to me.

It might not look anything close to his intention. The best HDR films are ones that are shot with HDR in mind. Anything after the fact is essentially faked. It can completely change the look of a scene. So, Nolan has a point. If he wants his intent and vision intact, the man is going to have to personally oversee any remaster of the film.

I want that immersive track tho... sure wish they'd release the Blu-ray with a little tweak and boost to the already awesome sound.
