Received the discs this week, so far have seen True Lies and Aliens. I have to say I was VERY impressed with the picture and sound quality on both of them. There are a few odd shots in True Lies but most of it was stunning. The Atmos track in both is just amazing, particularly the last 25 minutes of True Lies, the whole helicopter and jet sequences are terrific. Aliens was even better, extremely active from start to finish. Very impressed with those.

Ahh the James Cameron trifecta, nice!

I've also seen Aliens and True Lies, I'll hopefully get around to The Abyss sometime soon.

Beautiful! A sight for sore eyes... far too long in the making. Agree with you on Aliens being the better audio presentation. Wait until you give Abyss a spin. It might not be the best movie of the three, but it's the best presentation!
