Hi guys, have some difficulties with rew setup and measurements; bought a new notebook with windows 10, installed rew ,asio4all, made the settings for the soundcard, all good; was unable to made measurements because in the asio control panel, couldn’t activate the umik1,after that installed java and took some measurements with weird results, then installed flexasio and the measurements are more weirder. What am I doing wrong, can someone help?
Here is the graph with the measurements of my sealed subs, two with java and two with flexasio.

Are you using a UMIK? Your PC may be applying noise rejection processing to the UMIK input, go to the Advanced tab of the Windows audio properties for the UMIK (System - Sound - Related Settings on right hand side - Sound Control Panel - Recording - select UMIK, click Properties button) and make sure enhancements are not enabled. If you have an ASUS laptop make sure that "AI noise cancelling microphone" is not on in myASUS for the UMIK input.

I’m using an UMIK-1; it worked, thanks John! It don’t work with asio4all,which worked with the old laptop where was also the REW v5.20 installed; it’s possible it didn’t work on the new one because of the difference between the asio version? I used java and flexasio, and between the two, was a about 10 dB difference in the measurements, see attached below; also, with flexasio, in the upper end of the measurement I heard strange noises.Think that the accurate measurements is with the java driver.
How can I go back to the white mode instead of the dark one? didn’t find the setting for that.

The dark background selection is in the View preferences. Make sure the sample rate for the default format of the device you are using for output is 48 kHz, it is on the Advanced tab of the audio properties for the output device.
