Virtual vs "Rea" Timing Reference

I've been using an EVO8 Sound Card with REW for quite some and it has a built in "loop back" timing reference. Up until one of the most recent REW updates, there has not been the audible timing reference that occurs when I used an HDMI connection (no external sound card) to my processor --- but now there is. Attached is my setup and can't figure out what needs to be done. Thanks.

Have you selected Acoustic timing reference on the Measure dialog? If you want to use a loopback as the timing reference select that, not acoustic.
