I use REW v5.19 on Toshiba T551(2011 old PC). The measure frequency response looks OK. It matches well with TrueRTA Quick Sweep.

Now I download v5.20 and tested pn NEC LAVIE (2018 new PC). The measured response is not correct.

I dlownloaded the older version 5.19 from the Home page, but in vain. I cannot understand Why.

The following is the result measured by TrueRTA on the same day (20210527). The frequency response is correct.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Probably best attaching the mdat files for the different REW measurements. What was the input device?

The input device is as follows.
Mic: ECM8000
Preamp: EMU0404 (to USB)
The same device is used for both LAVIE (version5.20) and T551 (version5.19)

Can you attach mdat files for the measurements? Make sure monitoring is off on the interface.

v520 beta7 on LAVIE

I'm doing the loopback test on LAVIE. There is something strange.

The loopback test indicates that the frequency response of LAVIE does not seem to be flat. It is a very curious response. I don't know why.

The problem has been solved. The cause of trouble is the default setting of the headphone jack sound system of LAVIE. The default setting of the headphone jack of LAVIE is not flat, although that of T551 is flat.
The following is the frequency response using REW5.20. The frequency response is correct.

Sorry for bothering you. REW is a excellent measuring system.

Great to hear that you solved it. Laptops often apply effects processing ("Enhancements") to their headphone outputs by default, that can be disabled in the Windows audio properties for the output.
