Using REW to detect harsher digital sound.

Is there an indication in REW measurements that hint towards sound being more analogue sounding and smooth vs harsh and digital?

REW has distortion and clarity charts which might help identify where the issues may lie...
Is your room acoustically treated? That may help some... Why not post up some of your measurements in an .mdat file for us to help you better with...
What player software do you use? You may be able to utilize a VST plugin to add EQ and/or tube and/or transformer warmth...
Another crazy idea would be to swap out your preamp for a tubed pre... :dizzy:

Room correction utilizing physical acoustic traps, absorbers and diffusers is a good place to start... Additionally Digital Room Correction can be utilized to fine tune... You would want your room SPL to to look like the chart in figure 5 on page 4 of this paper...
