Using Multiple Audio Formats and Audyssey?

I setup my AVR with speakers and amp assigned for atmos 7.4.6 and used audyssey eq.

If I switch my speaker layout and amp assign too 9.4.2 for a movie what happens to my audyssey eq.?

There will be no AudysseyEQ since it is based on a fixed speaker configuration. Some prepros will store more than one configuration/EQ but I do not know if yours does.

If it doesn’t is there a device that would, that I can hook up in my system chain?

On further review I found this in the AVR manual. If it can detect format and choose what 13 speakers to output audio of the 15 connected then wouldn’t audessey be eq’ing all 15 when it is run?

Not that I know of.

Only if you never change the configuration.
