using Java I am unable to get 8 channel dropdown to show only L - R or L&R

been struggling with this for ages
using V5. 30 beta

I'm using a Trinnov Altitude16 but try as I might using Java I cant get the 8 channel dropdown to show on the measurement page
any help would be appreciated

On Windows only the WASAPI Exclusive entries (names starting EXCL) offer more than 2 channels. The processor mode and how you are connecting to it also matter.

just to feedback and update
I was only getting EXCL for my UMIC 1
so I just continued to use REW with L and R

after a few days out of the blue the stars aligned and EXCL appeared as an option for my Trinnov and then I got all channels and things were golden
