For those of you who are having a home theater PC, are you using any UPS?

A friend of mine is asking whether this one is good for his HTPC..

27071
user manual here.

He wants one that will last a long blackout or power outage..

Any recommendations? Is this one good? Any thoughts?

Seems like overkill to me. I have bought several over the years and have never needed one that expensive. Currently I am using this one.

It’s more expensive to get a unit that will “last through a long outage or blackout” than it is to get one that will automatically initiate a safe power down procedure when power goes out.

At that price I think you may want to look into a whole home generator if long outages and blackouts are a problem.
