Hi,

My connection is PC --- (via USB) ---- SMSL DAC --- (RCA) ---- Preamplifier

In the Configuration when i select the output to be "Speakers (SMSL Sanskrit 10th), REW detect there was an output error. I have no issue playing music with this setup. Any one pls advice what am i doing wrong. And i know my dac can play PCM up to 384khz on 32bits sampling rate.

This is the error message i am getting:

Some possible causes are the device is in use by something else and is configured in the Windows audio properties for exclusive access, or the default format for the device in the Windows audio properties is different to the REW sample rate and the OS is not resampling. If neither of those apply you might have more luck with ASIO drivers using an ASIO wrapper like FlexASIO or ASIO4All.

hi John, you are right and right to the spot. i change the sampe rate of the default audio properties to match the one in the REW and it works perfect.
