Unable to access selected device - Does not have any lines supporting PCM_SIGNED 24bit, 10 channels

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help me.

I used to have REW configured on an older laptop. I documented the entire process, so now I'm going through the steps to configure it on a different laptop, same sound card (Universal Audio Apollo Twin).

When I select the input device I'm getting the following:

This is the screenshot from the old laptop where things worked without problems:

REW 5.10.13
MAC OS Monterey 12.6.1
Latest Universal Audio drivers

Any thoughts or ideas would be highly appreciated. I've spent a while now googling without much luck.

All right...whatever...rebooted the Mac, and the problem is now gone. Great. But now, when I do the "check levels", the out is always around -96 dBFS., and there's no sound coming out of the speakers.

Tried changing the output device to the Mac built-in speakers, same story. No sound.

Any thoughts?

Click the Next button. I've changed the way that works recently as it is too easy to miss the need to go to the next step.
