Umik-1 problems, help needed please

I am New here
I saw asimilar topic here, but with a different problem...

My new Umik-1 is working under windows 10 64Bit on my laptop with REW (latest version), but with problems: It kind of measures for a second, but than the SPL level drifts slowly to 20 db ,and doesn't measure correctly.
With a desktop with windows 10 64 bit it works correctly,
Any ideas what it is? :-(

Check the Windows audio properties for the UMIK on the Advanced tab to make sure enhancements are disabled, there might be some noise cancellation processing being applied. Also check the USB connector goes in fully on the laptop.

Windows did enable some noise cancellation. I unchecked this option it in the microphone's driver properties and the problem was solved!
